Best Gastronomic Book award 2007-2008 is given to "TRADITIONAL AEGEAN RECIPES" at Gourmet Awards. All research, writing and supervision has been a perfect example of the team work of Food Issues. The awards ceremony took place Monday 7 of April in Athens with main purpose the recognition of all those people, companies & restaurants who offer their best services and knowledge towards Greek Gastronomy. Our most recent projects include the cook book of KONVA company (Brands: Trata, Flokos), as well as all recipes & food styling of the TV commercials with main concept "From the ocean to your dish". The concept was inspired and supervised by McCann Erickson advertising company. All recipes were designed to meet the high values over time of this traditional product to the demands of modern life. With this advertising campaign, KONVA repositions its image and invites all consumers to open their mind and try new recipes with Mediterranean ingredients and temperament never thought till now, completely harmonized to our modus vivendi.
Success for our team includes the cookbook TRADITIONAL AEGEAN RECIPES. This book is a journey in the roots of modern cookery, an attempt for all traditional recipes of the past to gain the recognition they deserve. An accurate and to the point tracing and writing down of those data that shaped the gastronomic habits of Greece in all times. It is a delicate edition that treasures some of the most rare recipes of Greek cooking with main goal to preserve them for future historic referance and use. The conjectural make up of the book is unique for its kind.
